Is this the greatest run of singles ever?

Starting with the ever so radio unfriendly single Orgasm Addict in 1977 and tail ended with Harmony In My Head in 1979 this is an (almost) peerless run of singles. Like many a great run of singles in the modern age the covers were of a themed designed, by Malcolm Garret. Linder sterling an artist in her own right and a friend of Morrissey(as in “Meet me at the Cemetry Gates”) helped with the design of Orgasm Addict, partly using an Argos catalogue. They were all compiled on “Singles Going Steady” which itself was compiled in a box set called “Product” indeed. Amazingly the singles were all released in a little over 18 months The second one was even released in Australia as  “I Am The Amazing Buzzcocks 12″”. Another compilation ws called “Operators Manual” fitting as they are practically the reference guide for how to be a perfect pop band
